Johann Zarco finished 4th of the day in Barcelona, and he will therefore compete in the last Q2 of the season. The Frenchman is far ahead of the other Honda riders and is delighted with the progress, his on the bike but also that of the machine. He hopes to qualify on one of the first two lines on Saturday.

Fourth of the day: “This is where I would like to be, where I want to be. But actually, I didn't expect it! It feels good. The sequence of all the races overseas has taught me how to ride the bike better, I'm really trying to use its strengths, which I didn't do when I was here (in May). I started using the bike's strengths at Sachsenring, Spielberg, Silverstone, around mid-season. I focused on that, telling myself that it wasn't all bad. I managed to use that better, and still, the bike evolved. And there, I'm so happy. »
