MotoGP: Iannone, the most credible option?
The transalpine, currently in Superbike with Ducati, had already been associated with a possible return to MotoGP, with Pramac, as the boss of this team had revealed. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to us, this did not happen. The future Yamaha satellite team having finally opted for the pair composed of Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller. Potentially, we imagine that Ducati was not ready to give up its rider after the break with the Team in question.
Regardless, the Italian firm would be ready to “offer” a test of a Grand Prix to Iannone. Simple gift or real evaluation sequence, difficult to say at the moment. Update: In the meantime, it was the team boss who finally gave up. Andrea Iannone is indeed one of the 3 or 4 candidates for the helm that Fabio di Giannantonio will leave vacant.
“We have three or four names on the table. Me, Pablo and Vale have started to think and we will make a decision after Monday, because we want to stay focused on this weekend. Yes, Iannone is one of them, but we have maybe four drivers more or less on the table.”
