Europe against Liberty, Ago against Bagnaia

At the end of this year, Ago has little doubt, it will be the one of the two who is more in control who will be titled, Martin is more brilliant but less composed. So, barring any incident or even error, there are no longer enough GPs to make up for a blunder, it will be Bagnaia. But even with three titles, Bagnaia will not yet be a legend, not yet an idol, which I write every week or almost, he has not yet amazed me. So I completely agree with my friend Mino’s analysis. What Ago thinks is simple: “ The public falls in love with idols… but idols need worthy opponents, Pecco must keep winning and if he beats Márquez on the same bike, he will have made the leap. Well, we are ignoring the fact that Bagnaia has much more experience in managing the Ducati factory team. Marquez is for the moment the stature, almost the only one on the field, he was largely beaten this year but since mid-season, his bike has become a trestle, we even removed the flywheel to try to save what remains of his contingent of engines, that is to say almost nothing, only well-worn second-hand vehicles before Thailand where he will be able to use his last new engine. Obviously, trying to get the factory Ducati, it’s terribly tiring! In fact, talking with my friends, one thing is clear, the Marquez/Bagnaia fight is the one we are waiting for, so this year loses a lot of its interest, the proof, everyone, even Bagnaia, in that is to say that it must be decided in Valencia while usually, we glorify the one who is titled with several GPs to go. It’s certain that if it’s decided before, the end of the season will be terribly lacking in thrills…
