The Moroccan national football team held its first training session on Monday evening at the Mohammed VI Center in Maamoura, on the outskirts of Salé, to enter a training camp in preparation for the matches against Gabon and Lesotho in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The first training session was attended by most of the first team players, who arrived on Monday morning at the aforementioned center, in a positive atmosphere before the upcoming international appearance.

In the first training session, national coach Walid Regragui focused on physical fitness and the technical aspect to ensure the players’ readiness and harmony according to the way he will play the next two matches.

The Moroccan national team will face its Gabonese counterpart next Friday, starting at 8 pm Moroccan time, at the Grand Agadir Stadium, and will meet Lesotho on the 9th of September.

It is noteworthy that the national team has already qualified for the finals of the next edition of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by the Kingdom, and it will be a favorable opportunity for the national coach Walid Regragui to see the capabilities of some players before the World Cup qualifiers.
