Argentine national team star Lionel Messi appeared in press statements, after beating Bolivia 6-0 in the World Cup qualifiers.
Messi said: “It is very nice that… I come here (Argentina), to feel the love of the people, I am touched by the way they chant my name. We all enjoy communicating with people and we love playing in Argentina as well.”
He added: “I’m happy with the win. I hope I’ve got the goals to finish the year at the club well and then enjoy day by day step by step.”
And about playing in the Cup World 2026: “I have not set a date or deadline, I simply want to enjoy it all. I am more excited than ever to be here and feel the love of the people.”
He added: “Unfortunately, Carbone was injured recently, we send him all our support. Today Nico Paz made his debut. He is playing very well and is important to us. He has an impressive mentality and that is why he is in the right place.
