This evening, Météo-France has placed two departments on orange vigilance for heavy rain accumulations expected over the next two days. These are Gard and Lozère.

Significant amounts of rain expected
During the day of Wednesday, the accumulations could reach 120 to 150 liters of water per square meter on the Cévennes relief, occasionally up to 250 liters of water per square meter on the Aigoual massif and Mont Lozère.
The Gard plains, Aubrac and Margeride should remain on the sidelines of the worst of the episode. It is still expected in these areas of 10 to 30 liters of water per square meter, locally up to 50 liters of water per square meter.
