A number of educational frameworks accuse the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports of “selectivity” in selecting participants in this forum, which was hosted by the city of Rabat on the 25th and 26th of last month, considering that 3,000 women and men of education invited to participate in this forum “were selected with great care.” By Ministry officials at the directorate and academies levels, as well as granting huge compensation to participating frameworks from outside Morocco.

In a related context, the union’s regional office denounced the deprivation of a group of directors of educational institutions who were assigned to manage more than one institution of their mobility compensation, calling for accelerating the disbursement of dues for educational support.

The same statement recorded the absence of a real will to find the necessary solutions to them, stressing that the university will not stand idly by in the face of this situation, calling at the same time on the responsible authorities to devote seriously and immediately to addressing these imbalances before matters develop into undesirable consequences, as the statement put it. .

The union called on the regional director to provide the necessary office equipment to run educational institutions, especially at the beginning of the season, to overcome the difficulties and constraints faced by directors, while providing a sufficient amount of cleaning materials and providing security guards and cleaning ladies in all educational institutions to preserve their sanctity.

The same authority stressed the necessity of activating Memorandum 103/17, which regulates the relationship between the sector and unions. Requesting the regional director to find a practical solution to the issue of overcrowding and shared classes to ensure normal functioning within educational institutions in order to achieve quality.

In the context of its solidarity with men and women of education, the union declared its absolute and unconditional solidarity with the regional secretary of the National University of Education, Azilal, against the behavior that it described as “irresponsible” by the regional director of the ministry. It also expressed its solidarity with a professor who said she was deprived of the position of director of Tha Moulay Rachid Rehabilitation Center for “false” reasons that flout the principle of equal opportunities and efficiency and the dominance of the logic of favoritism and clientelism in assigning positions of responsibility, according to the statement.
