The Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Drâa-Tafilalet region has decided to postpone the recruitment competition for the nursing and health technician corps, session of September 8, 2024, due to bad weather conditions.

The same directorate concluded, in an announcement addressed to male and female candidates wishing to take the aforementioned exam, that it was decided to postpone this exam to Sunday, September 15.

The same source reported that the final lists of candidates accepted to take the written tests will be published on the website of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection later.

It is worth noting that the General Directorate of Meteorology reported that very heavy rainfall, locally thunderstorms, (from 80 to 150 mm) with very strong gusts of wind, is expected starting from Friday at 4:00 PM until next Sunday at 11:00 PM.

The Directorate explained, in a warning bulletin at the “red” level of vigilance, that these rainfalls concern the provinces of Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Ouarzazate and Tata; while rainfalls at the orange level of vigilance will concern, at the same time, the provinces of Figuig, Taroudant, Midelt, Azilal and Al Haouz (30 mm to 60 mm).

Regarding the warning bulletin for tomorrow, Saturday, the General Directorate of Meteorology revealed that rainfall of between 60 and 90 mm will affect the provinces of Assa Zag and Smara, starting from 10 am until 11 pm, with rainfall of orange alert level affecting the provinces of Guelmim, Sidi Ifni and Tan-Nizit (30 to 60 mm) starting from 1 pm until 11 pm.
