The radio journalist, who remains on public radio, is replaced by his assistant Maxence Lambrecq.
Removed from the morning “political editorial” on France Inter, Yaël Goosz is leaving the post of head of the station’s political department and is being replaced by Maxence Lambrecq, we learned on Tuesday from the public radio station. Yaël Goosz remains at France Inter, where he delivers a column every evening in the 18/20 news, and also now appears every morning on LCI, the news channel of the private group TF1.
This summer, the radio station created a surprise by announcing that the political editorial would no longer be provided by Yaël Goosz but by newcomer Patrick Cohen, who had presented the morning show from 2010 to 2017 before leaving Inter. Shocked by this unexpected change, the editorial team voted in July a motion of no confidence against Inter’s director, Adèle Van Reeth.

It is Maxence Lambrecq, his deputy, who takes the position”the station told AFP, confirming information from La Correspondance de la presse. Yaël Goosz confirmed to AFP her “full agreement”just adding: “I want to move forward, to work”.
Maxence Lambrecq previously worked at RTL and Europe 1. “10 years ago, you welcomed me to the political service of RTL. I owe you so much”he posted to Yaël Goosz on X on Monday.
