: The Alps in 5G… Yes, but for whom? We tell you everything

The implementation required significant resources.

A start of installation just before Christmas… For delivery before the change of year… Major resources were used, rue des Alpes in , to set up a mobile telephone antenna.
Big means that we could see from afar and which, obviously, raised a lot of questions. Creusot-infos therefore went there last week to find out more.
First answer: It is indeed an antenna to water Le Creusot with 5G.
Second answer: It was the operator SFR who commissioned the project to install this relay antenna.

Third answer: It was on December 24, Christmas Eve, that the pylon in the form of a metal structure mechanic was moved into place with a large lifting crane.
Fourth answer: On Tuesday evening again, the technicians were on the pylon to carry out all the connection and connection work.
Fifth answer: The work will normally be completed on Friday for the arrival of 5G from SFR before December 31 and therefore just before the start of 2025.
SFR customers, with 5G, will therefore have access to the best speed for everything related to the internet.
For those who have a little memory, we recall that the site was the victim of a large forest fire, almost 20 years ago, it was July 27, 2005. A fire that started accidentally and was left on the side of rue du Docteur Rebillard.
If the dead end street is called “rue des Alpes”, it is quite simply because at the end of it you can see Mont Blanc perfectly some mornings, but also sometimes in the afternoon.
Finally, we finally write it with a smile: It has already been many months, not to say many years, since 5G was installed. During this Christmas period, out of Christian charity, we will not remember who started the controversies over 5G and its dangers. Those who have memory remember. We can just notice that the early detractors were wrong. A habit for some who are used to always slowing down with both feet in the face of technological advances… Before, obviously, happily taking advantage of them.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone who will benefit from 5G, including of course, the rearguard fighters.
