LE CREUSOT: The CSE Cyclos stay the course

With the return of the Bicycle Exchange in April

Around fifty people gathered this Saturday late afternoon around President Louis Rosati at the Maison des Associations Jouffroy for the General Assembly in the presence of Guy Arnoud, President of the WHO.
The numbers remain stable compared to previous years with 58 memberships in 2024. But with the legal increase in the retirement age, underlines Louis Rosati, this figure risks falling. The membership price does not change, it is €26 for one person. Tribute was paid to Lucien Gey who was president of the CSE and a faithful servant of the CSE for many years.

The two weekly bike outings resumed in February on Tuesday and Thursday for groups 1 and 2 as well as on Saturday for the more adventurous. There was no group 3 this year. For the festive part, the galette was organized on January 5, the dancing meal on February 18 and the relaxation day at the Moulin du Breuil which brought together 60 people. Walk in the morning and pétanque in the afternoon to stay in the sporting area. The financial report drawn up by Gilles Régnier shows a certain stability. It is approved unanimously as is the activity report. The sports report is then drawn up by sports coach André Lamalle. For the two weekly outings, around 10,000 km had been programmed and a few cyclists completed them. Several regional hikes, Aluze, heart route with CVS and the climb of the Izoard during the outing in Aiguilles from June 13 to 15, the Settons, the Haut-Folin, outing in Charolais have been scheduled as well as an outing with CVS in favor of the Telethon. During the winter period, walks of around 10 km, bike or mountain bike outings are offered.
In anticipation for 2025, members were able to note the galette des Rois on January 5, the sauerkraut meal on February 23, the Bike Exchange from April 3 to 6, and the trip to Megève from June 19 to 21.
Thanks are then sent to the Municipality, the partners and all the volunteers before the presentation of rewards to deserving members and the glass of friendship. In addition, a check for €200 was given to the AFM Téléthon and one for €150 to Roland Douarre for his photo reports and the maintenance of the website.
