Two replacement reindeer will graze in the national reserve
“In a troubled world, the municipal council wanted to give a little happiness to the population with this decree which we wanted to personalize according to the characteristics of the village”, testifies Christophe Tary, to explain the ratification of the decree.
Officially distributed to citizens, the missive caused a reaction. The curator of the Sabot de Frotey-lès-Vesoul nature reserve first: “We wrote that the curator of the national nature reserve agreed to the two reindeer replacing Santa Claus grazing on the dry lawns. I received a call from him: he had not realized that it was second degree,” laughs the mayor. It must be said that the decree is rather well put together. The town hall put the president of the aerodrome in the loop to confirm “that the passage of the sleigh and the six reindeer would not impact the easements of the airspace. »
Other residents believed that the town was organizing the visit of Santa Claus. Wednesday, December 25, the residents of Frotey-lès-Vesoul will have a gift under the tree!
