In force since August 1, 2022, this system financed by the Region and the Department makes it possible to cap the price of the gas cylinder at 15 euros regardless of price fluctuations on the international gas market.

“The 15-euro gas bottle system concerns the entire population, and not just priority groups falling under the jurisdiction of the Departmental Council,” explains the departmental community.

The funds previously allocated to this system will therefore be “redirected towards RSA beneficiaries, the elderly and people with disabilities”, explains the Department.
