No more post-match Bodega classics at Racing 92. The Ile-de- club is launching its new concept in 2025: “Racing Live”. At the end of each match, a half-hour concert will be offered to fans directly from the pitch.

Artists from the French scene

On the program for example: Kendji Girac after the match against in January, Kavinsky after the match against in February, Matt Pokora to close the derby against Stade Français, Dadju to close the season after .

The objective: to use music to attract a wider audience to La Défense Arena, and to offer a unique experience to spectators. “With Racing Live, we want to offer our supporters more than a rugby match,” says president Laurent Travers. “A unique experience that prolongs the emotion of sport, thanks to exceptional musical performances. Combining music and rugby in a place as emblematic as Paris La Défense Arena means reinventing conviviality and the pleasure of being together after the final whistle.”

Marriage of rugby and music

In search of new supporters to fill the stands of its stadium, the club relies on what Paris la Défense is known for: the largest performance hall in Europe. Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Mylène Farmer and the Rolling Stones filled the 40,000-seat arena in concert configuration.

After the match, rugby fans – or music fans – will be able to go directly to the pitch to watch the show, with tickets starting from 10.92 euros: “The marriage of rugby and music was obvious for Racing 92”, confirms Bathilde Lorenzetti, vice-president of Paris La Défense Arena. “Our ambition is to make Paris La Défense Arena the venue for the greatest sporting performances, but also a mecca for the cultural and entertainment scene, on a national and international level.”

Exiled to Créteil because of the Olympic Games, then concerts, Stuart Lancaster’s men returned to their stadium at the end of December against LOU, for only the second time this season. And in January, against the South African Stormers, the supporters present will be entitled to the first show, given by the rapper Franglish.
