Its Beta version is already available on the Galaxy S24 in India, the USA, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom, but its official launch is planned for the beginning of next year: the new One UI 7 interface is coming to Samsung. This overlay dedicated to Android 15 will primarily equip the next Galaxy S smartphones from the Korean manufacturer: the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. However, we guess that all models running Android 15 should also benefit quickly, from the Galaxy S24 to the Galaxy Z Flod6 and Z Flip6, including the latest Galaxy A. New design and increased display customization
With One UI 7, everything is done to improve the user experience, starting with opening and closing instant applications: fluidity guaranteed! The interface is intended to be minimalist, refined, and functional.
First change: we move on to vertical scroll (horizontal scrolling remains optional for users of the old system who wish it), with applications sorted alphabetically and a drop-down menu divided in two. One part for notifications, another for quick settings.
We also see the appearance the “Now Bar”, a toolbar that centralizes information in real time (music, notifications, stopwatch, etc.), and which allows you not to unlock your phone every time.
The home screen will be simplified, and the widgets modernized: their more rounded design has been revised to adapt to the new shape of the screen, and they become customizable, just like the different themes.
When multitasking, the presentation also changes: for better readability, the different windows will now be “stacked”.
New photo features
The camera interface has been completely redesigned tooffer better ergonomics. The action buttons to access the different modes are now at the very bottom of the screen, to facilitate their use with one hand. It’s more intuitive.
“Pro Mode” has been revised, and the different settings options simplified. Zoom is enhanced with a new function: speed control, and AI makes it possible sharp images even zoomed x100, or the use of artistic effects on the portraits. Let us also cite the “Live Effects” function, which will add depth to photos.

The “Galaxy AI” universe is expanding still has new functions, and is now similar to a personal assistant. Here he is now able:
- to generate a text or an email, to transcribe or summarize notes, from any application;
- to transcribe conversations telephone calls recorded in real time, in 20 languages;
- to block access to certain chosen sites, as part of a improved parental controls;
- to geographically follow your child in real time, just to check that he is on his way to school for example;
- and even to help him with his homework with the “Circle to search” function: she will not give the answers, but rather refers to explanatory videos to find it alone.
No more need to download multiple applications and juggle between them: everything is immediately available!
