Last January, Cori suffered a stroke at just 24 years old. This twist of fate shocked not only the young woman, but also her entire family. But since childhood, Cori struggles with complex health issues. Diagnosed at the age of six with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, she had to learn to live with a constantly weakened body. This new ordeal of the stroke seemed almost insurmountable, but Cori did not give up.
During an interview given to Us Weekly,
Snoop Dogg spoke with emotion about this complicated period:

I feel like it’s some of the best music I’ve made in my career.
