A 14-year-old teenager tried, on December 17, 2024, to snatch a person’s handbag inside the Nîmes SNCF station.
The incident occurred in broad daylight, in full view of travelers. The teenager, failing in his flight, was quickly intercepted by a security agent. The latter kept him there until the arrival of the police.

During his arrest, the young minor insulted two police officers. Despite his behavior, he was handcuffed and taken to the police station where he was taken into custody. After his hearing, he was released but will have to answer for his actions before the children’s judge.
