Since 2018, the Roanne section of LICRA has successfully built a fruitful partnership with the municipal theater of Roanne. This is manifested by the organization of conferences. The conference will be held on December 18.
Each theater season, the chosen theme echoes with a show presented.
This year it is the play “Les Téméraires” around Zola and Méliès in the Drey-fus affair which will be presented the day before our conference.
This piece received the LICRA label awarded by the cultural commission of the national LICRA.
A great opportunity to compare anti-Semitism as it manifested itself in France during the Dreyfus Affair and the current surge in this unbearable phenomenon of the explosion of anti-Semitic acts.
To reflect on the situation, we will have the honor of receiving for dialogue on the theme of “Anti-Semitism yesterday and today”, the historian Vincent DUCLERT, author of the volume “Al-fred Dreyfus, the man of ‘a patriot’, with our friend, Alain DAVID, philosopher, member of the LICRA executive board.
