The photos were relayed by the National Rally deputy of the constituency. On X, Franck Allisio sent “all his support” to the various right-wing mayor of Marignane Eric Le Dissès. On several facades of this neighboring town of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), anti-Semitic inscriptions were discovered: “the mayor, dirty Jew”, is notably written in red paint. Or even “long live Hitler” or “death to the mayor”. An investigation was opened by the Aix-en-Provence public prosecutor’s office and the tags were deleted.
The hateful messages were written on the walls of the Marignane town hall and a school. An inscription “DZ mafia”, named after a Marseille drug trafficking gang, was also discovered.

The mayor of Marignane filed a complaint on Monday, said Aix-en-Provence prosecutor Jean-Luc Blachon. “It’s my DNA so there’s nothing that’s going to change. As long as it remains in the writings or on social networks, there is no seriousness,” commented the elected official on CNews. Police protection would have been offered to the elected official, who would have refused it.
Eric Le Dissès caused controversy a year ago by making meat compulsory in the Marignane school canteen, “in the name of the principle of secularism”. In January, he also announced his intention to provide tear gas bombs to teachers in his town.
