Vicent Broussard will take up his duties as general director as of October 28, succeeding Jérôme Saporito, suddenly ousted in September, as revealed by Le Figaro. Reporting to Rolf Heinz, general director of the L’Equipe group, he will also be a member of the executive committee and ” will participate in overall strategic thinking » from the sports media brand, according to the press release. “Responsible for driving a new stage for the L’Equipe channel and strengthening its audiences”, he will also have to develop “the digital channels L’Equipe Live and L’Equipe Live foot”, it is added.

The manager will also have the mission of “ accelerate the development of the group’s “production” activity through the subsidiary 21 Production “. Vincent Broussard, 56, worked for a long time for the M6 ​​group, where he started his career in 1989 within the communications department. After a detour via Canal+, he notably participated in the creation of the Téva, Série Club and W9 channels.

Having become general manager of TF6 and Série Club in 2006, channels co-owned by TF1 and M6, he joined Télévisions in 2011, then TF1 in 2014, as deputy general manager in charge of programs, programming and antennas for TMC and NT1 , before taking the helm of the division (NRJ 12 and Chérie 25) of the NRJ group. Managing Director of the Ivorian subsidiary of the M6 ​​Life TV group from 2017 to 2019, he has since worked as a consultant, notably within the production company Fremantle Media France or Public Sénate. In September, the L’Equipe channel achieved an audience share of 1.2%, according to Médiamétrie.
