Ce subdivision of Saint-Georges-des-Groseillers (Orne) was initiated on December 18, 2014 with the purchase of land of 27,588 m2 of which 18,665 m2 is buildable.

A permit to develop this location was issued in July 2016 with a plot separation of twenty-five plots to build.

€638,690.81 of work and purchases

The first plot and the first building permit were put in place in October 2017 and the last sale with request for building permit was carried out on September 27, 2022.

20 plots were sold under the previous mandate. Interrupted by the Covid-19it was from 2020 that the last five plots were sold until 2022. The roads, tarring, construction of sidewalks and green spaces were completed in 2023.

The purchase of land and the work of the various studies amounted to €638,690.81. This additional budget was covered by the sale of land set at €35 per m2 excluding tax or €42 per m2 including tax.

This subdivision, now completed, is “very pleasant with twenty-five beautiful pavilionsall well wooded,” says the mayor. It brings together 75 Georgians with young children.

Placed over an entire length, it reveals houses with fences on the left and an American-style presentation on the right. without sharing hedges or fences.

We all agree not to put a fence on our side! We are all at home, we know that if each of us needs it, we are in solidarity with each other, while preserving our privacy. It is a respectful place with a good quality of life. It is a neighborhood very close to the town, with proximity to shops, transport and schools. This is very interesting for us, young parents of four children.

The mayor thanks all companies who worked on this site.

18 months before the end of the mandate of this municipal council, Stéphane Terrier declared that no subdivision program was in progress due to the economic situation current (post-Covid, cost of materials, construction and higher interest rates).

“It was not not encouraging to re-establish a subdivision project,” explains the city councilor.
