A 40-year-old man was stabbed to death during the night from Friday to Saturday, in Blagnac near Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). Two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were arrested and placed in police custody in this investigation, indicated the Toulouse prosecutor's office, confirming information from The Dispatch.
On the night of the events, a violent brawl broke out around 2 a.m. on rue des Pâquerettes. According to the regional daily, images show the two suspects chasing the victim. The forty-year-old was found dead a few hours later. The two minors returned to the crime scene before the victim was discovered. The latter was allegedly stabbed at least three times. An autopsy will be carried out.
The two teenagers were quickly identified by investigators from the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS). The suspects would be unknown to the justice system. Their motivations remain unknown at this stage.
The two suspects must be presented to an investigating judge in the coming hours. The prosecution will open a judicial investigation.
