The Electron festival, which held its first act in May, returns to Geneva from October 4 to 12, 2024. “From House to Techno, including Hard Techno, Sledgehammer House or Disco House, and even industrial music, there will be something for every leg and every soul,” promises the festival in a press release.
And there will also be something new, since the Electron is taking over a new venue for its opening night: the Comédie de Genève. The place “will be completely transformed into a veritable den of electronic music with not one, but two dancefloors,” explains the festival. Ace Soundsystem, Chima Isaaro, Mézingue, Cora and Kettama will perform there.
On Sunday October 6, the group Einstürzende Neubauten will play at the Alhambra for “an event concert”. The following weekend the festivities will continue at the Palladium. October 11 will be dedicated to “a 100% female and 100% Hard Grooves Electron Club” with artists such as Clara Cuvé, Perfect, La Penderie Noire, Elina b2b and Buds Buzzy. The 2024 edition will conclude the next day with “a real electronic fireworks display” with Laurent Garnier, Agoria, Nahomi and Rob R.
