Whether after a day of work or during a stay, several stations in Haute-Savoie allow you to enjoy the slopes under the stars at the end of the day. These night ski sessions offer a different atmosphere and allow you to ski with fewer people. Here are the stations near where to live this experience!

Where to do night alpine skiing near Annecy?

Mangod

The Manigod station offers night ski sessions on eight slopes with four ski lifts, every Friday and Saturday, as well as during school holidays, from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The package for this activity is € 20.60.

In addition to the night sessions, the station organizes special evenings each winter with fun animations, such as Chamallows Party, a parent championship or hot apple juice offered by the trackers. Themed evenings like Disco Party or Far West also add a festive touch to the season.

The Grand-Bornand

Direction Le Grand-Bornand for a night alpine ski experience on the Charmieux track, lit every Tuesday from January to March, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Here, all types of sliding machines are allowed, whether skiing, yooner, snowscoot, parent, bicycle, snoc or even fatbike.

To make this evening even more pleasant, mulled wine and hot apple juice are offered in a snow front, and brazeros are available to grill Chamallows, to the delight of young and old. The price is € 12 for adults and € 8 for children.

The Clusaz

At La Clusaz, night ski sessions are resuming this year! Come and enjoy the night skiing every Tuesday evening, from February 4 to March 4, 2025, until 8 p.m., for a rate of € 18.50. In parallel, on Saturdays, you can extend your ski day until 6 p.m., with an optional package, at a rate of € 38 per person. The Saturday evenings take place until March 8, 2025. Be careful, the Nights of Manigod are not included in the clusaz packages.

Contamines-Montjoie

Haute-Savoie night skiThis charming station, located just over an annecy hour, also offers night ski sessions, but only on the Tuesday evening of the February school holidays, i.e. February 11, 18 and 25, 2025, as well as 4 March 2025. Enjoy a ski evening from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the lit rents, located in the center of the village.

What about the cake? In contamines-Montjoie, the activity is completely free, without the need to buy a package!

Practical information for night skiing

  • During night alpine ski sessions, the slopes are generally lit by spotlights. It is important to note that the bumps and other irregularities in the field can be less visible than in full day. It is therefore recommended to remain cautious and adapt your speed.
  • In the evening, after sunset, temperatures can drop quickly, so make sure to dress warmly and provide clothes suitable for these conditions.
  • Night skiing is not only reserved for adults; The lit tracks are accessible to everyone, whatever the age.
  • Apart from the night ski sessions organized by stations, access to the slopes after opening hours is strictly prohibited and can be dangerous.
