The Calvados gendarmes carried out a vast legal operation on Tuesday January 21, aiming to dismantle a drug trafficking network active since 2023. Three individuals were arrested in several municipalities: Vire Normandie, Valdallière (Calvados) and Domfront (Orne).
Successful searches
According to Tendance-Ouest, during searches carried out at their home, the police seized around 2,000 euros in cash, quantities described as “not insignificant” of cocaine and cannabis resin, as well as several cartons of cigarettes. .
-A major deployment
The operation mobilized 23 gendarmes from the Vire Normandy, Bayeux and Caen companies, with the valuable support of a dog team specializing in the detection of narcotics.
Two suspects brought to justice
After being placed in police custody, two of the main suspects were brought before the judicial authority. They will have to answer charges linked to this drug trafficking in court.
