A civil security exercise will be held on the SYENSQO site in Saint-Fons this Tuesday, January 28 in the morning. The municipal protection plan will be activated fictitiously by the mayor of Saint-Fons.
On this occasion, the new alert and information system by cellular broadcast will be tested among the populations located in Feyzin.
Called FR-Alert, this device makes it possible to warn in real time anyone with a mobile phone of their presence in a danger zone and to inform them of the behaviors to adopt to protect themselves.

People who receive the alert notification, accompanied by a specific sound signal, will not have to take any action or take any particular sheltering behavior to adopt. The word “exercise” will be explicitly indicated.
