The National Federation of Electricity, Electronics and Renewable Energies presented its export roadmap in Casablanca Thursday for the period 2025-2027. This strategic plan aims to position Morocco as a major player in international markets in the field of renewable energies and electricity, while strengthening the competitiveness of “Made in Morocco” products, according to Ali El Harti, president of Fenelec.

During the presentation of this roadmap, the president of the Federation stressed the growing importance of the label “Made in Morocco” on the international scene and the need for Moroccan companies to strengthen this dynamic: “Made in Morocco is More and more appreciated internationally, especially in the field of renewable energies. This roadmap aims to consolidate this dynamic and open new horizons for our companies, thanks to concrete measures such as the maintenance of customs duties at zero for strategic products such as solar panels ” -It declared.

Three strategic priorities

The roadmap revolves around three main axes. The first relates to the support for local production of electrical and electronic equipment. The second emphasizes the alignment of Moroccan products with international standards, thanks to standardization and certification. Finally, the third axis is to explore new markets, in particular in sub -Saharan Africa and in the Gulf countries.

Mr. El Harti also insisted on the solar and renewable potential of Morocco, which he describes as enormous. However, it warned that it is essential to capitalize on technological advances to maximize export performance.

The importance of digitalization and training

In his speech, the president of FENELEC also argued for an acceleration of digitalization in order to improve the transparency and efficiency of processes within Moroccan companies. “Companies must adopt new technologies to become regional leaders,” he said.

In addition, he highlighted the need to strengthen training and innovation to achieve the objectives set. “We must support our companies with suitable skills and increased investment in research and development,” he added.

Collaboration with public institutions

The Fenelec works in close collaboration with the administration of customs and indirect taxes (ADII) to resolve the price inconsistencies, said El Harti. Strategic partnerships are also underway with the ministries concerned to support the implementation of this ambitious roadmap.

Representing more than 95% of the activity of electrical, electronic and renewable energies in Morocco, Fenelec plays a central role in the animation of these sectors. It supports Moroccan companies in their transition to a global changing economic landscape.
