Yesterday, the AMCV (Association of Town Center Management) unveiled the results of its 2024 barometer, an annual analysis which evaluates the commercial dynamics of town centers in Wallonia.
Of the 1,148 commercial cells identified in Liège, 21.3% were identified as being empty, i.e. empty of commercial occupation. La Cité ardente is in 18th place among Walloon cities (With 44.3%, Verviers occupies first place.).
As for the hypercenter of the city of Liège, it is worse/ The vacancy rate increases from 20.9% in 2022… to 30.33% in 2024.
