La Lozère innovates with a new device, this is how it works

It is a device that does not exist anywhere else In France. But could well make little ones. We find it in Lozère. It aims to facilitate Business recovery. A project led by the Community of Communes Coeur de Lozère, based in Century.

The community had already been at the origin of the operation “My city center has an incredible trade” and ensures that this allowed the opening and development of nine businesses in the Lozérienne prefecture. It is now embarking on business transmission facilitation.

In three steps

A device that takes place in three stages. First, business leaders present their activity through videos. Then, any interested buyers register to participate in an event that will be organized May 16 and 17 in Mende.

The program is therefore aimed at both business leaders ready to transmit their activity and entrepreneurs looking for a local opportunity.

A large “transmission potential”

Which are numerous in this territory. Coeur de Lozère is indeed “attractive in business development” since it has a large “transmission potential”. Indeed, 39.6 % of business leaders present here are over 54 years old…

During the event on May 16 and 17 (on three half-days), buyers like those who want to let go of the reins can meet, exchange and lay the foundations for collaboration.

Experts to guide

Experts (lawyers, bankers, accountants, transmission advisers) will also be present to answer questions and orient the candidates for the transfer or resumption. As well as local elected officials. There will also be thematic workshops.

Finally, upstream of the two days, a friendly evening in a small committee will be organized in Mende with the 10 yields retained to present the system in detail. If the applications go beyond this number, the files will be examined by a selection committee in order to confirm the registration.
