Weather – Cumulative precipitation between 20 and 40 mm are expected during this rainy episode

Beware of Eowyn! (who is not a character from Rings) This winter storm is indeed sweeping on Great Britain and threatens the Breton tip. The department of Morbihan will therefore vigilance rain-rummage from 6 p.m. on Friday, according to the last Météo- bulletin.

“The first rains approached at the end of the night, but the episode has not yet really started, especially on Morbihan,” said Météo-France.

Other departments could follow

“The Eowyn storm is currently circulating on Ireland,” said the forecasters. “On Brittany, it brings durable and temporarily sustained rains, in particular (Friday) evening”, when the disturbance will reactivate. Météo-France thus plans a “usual rainy episode for the season, but requiring particular vigilance, due to saturated soils”.

Cumulation of precipitation between 20 and 40 mm are expected during this rainy episode. “The strongest rains should stop around midnight,” said Météo-France.

Orange vigilance could be extended to other departments, including those already placed in “rain-innon” yellow vigilance, warned the meteorological institute.
