Dakar, January 23 (APS) – UNESCO and Equatorial Guinea have launched, for the first time, a scholarship program worth $25,000 entirely dedicated to young African women scientists, we learned from the ministry. of Higher Education, Research and Innovation on its site.
In a press release of which the APS was aware, the minister indicates that the program of young African scientists, established by the Executive Council of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, aims to “promote and support two exceptional young African women under 45 years in the field of Life Sciences.
For Senegal, candidates must be of Senegalese nationality, carrying out research work in a recognized laboratory in Africa and hold a doctorate in the field of life sciences, among other eligibility criteria.
