OM – LOSC: first sanctions for Benatia and Létang, and it's not over!

After the events of OM-LOSC in the Coupe de , Medhi Benatia and Olivier Létang received the first sanctions.

A few days after the very turbulent OM – LOSC in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, Medhi Benatia (director of of OM) and Olivier Létang (president of LOSC) paid for their behavior at the end of the match. Indeed, according to L'Équipe, the two leaders were suspended as a precautionary measure by the FFF's federal disciplinary commission.

Benatia and Létang will be received soon

As a reminder, Benatia was sent off by referee Clément Turpin for virulent protests regarding a penalty not whistled. Already under a three-match reprieve, he risks a heavier sanction. For his part, Létang came down onto the field and grabbed the arm of the fourth referee to contest added time. His suspension also concerns his role on the LFP board of directors.

The sports daily adds that the commission takes this matter very seriously, and that it will receive the two men soon to determine the length of their sentence.
