The Supreme Court of Canada, the highest court in the country, accepts the legal challenge to Bill 21, commonly called the “Secularism Act” in Quebec.

Nearly a year ago, the Quebec Court of Appeal validated Bill 21, which prohibits the wearing of religious symbols by state employees in positions of authority.
