The Coureurs du pignada are ready to organize their Trail du coeur des Landes festival. A great day of sport awaits participants on Saturday April 5 in Pontonx-sur-l'Adour.
After a 2024 edition which was sold out with nearly 650 participants, the Coureurs du pignada team is offering four trail distances this year. A 42 kilometer trail marathon and a 32 kilometer trail with departures in the afternoon and an arrival at nightfall. A trail half-marathon of 21 kilometers and a shorter distance of 12 kilometers will be offered in the evening for a night race.
Hiking
After a year of relocation to the sports hall, return this year to the village arenas to welcome the runners which will also be the place of all arrivals. A meal will be served after the race, accompanied by a free concert.
In the morning, the Mille Paws association will organize a 10-kilometer hike with a departure at 10 a.m. and arrival in the arenas with refreshments for everyone.
-“Registrations have been open since January 5 and, already, many bibs have gone,” explains Philippe Jamet, president of the Coureurs du pignada. Latecomers will only regret not having registered earlier. As for people who have questions about this day, they can contact me. »
The association office will present this day in detail to all its members during the general assembly on February 7, at 7 p.m., at the Pontonx-sur-l'Adour arenas. A general assembly open to all to learn about the many activities that the association organizes throughout the year: “One more reason to join our association,” concludes Philippe Jamet.
