Around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, a collision took place between a motorist and a school bus which was stopped on Rang Bayonne Nord in Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the poorly defrosted windshield and the sun were the cause of the accident and a ticket was issued to the motorist.
The two people in the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries and none of the schoolchildren were injured.
