Organized by the Jura Nordic Space, the Doubs Nordic Festival transforms the snowy landscapes into an adventure playground for young and old. The event, organized in partnership with Doubs Tourisme and several local players, highlights Nordic sports in a friendly and family atmosphere. The objective is to allow everyone, beginners and experts alike, to discover the diversity of practices. Visitors will also be able to meet local artisans, participate in fun and educational workshops, and savor the region's specialties thanks to activities offered by partners such as Friends of the County. This immersion in local traditions enriches the experience, paying homage to the heritage of Haut-Doubs.
Activities adapted in case of absence of snow
On the five participating sites, Gilley, le Gardot – Val de Morteau, Chapelle-des-Bois, la Combe Saint-Pierre and Le Gounefay, the Nordic Festival offers a multitude of activities adapted to all ages and levels. Children will be able to learn skiing or have fun in fun parks, while adults will discover biathlon, snowshoeing or even dog sledding. For the most curious, igloo construction workshops and giant mandalas will complete this day of February 2, 2025.
This inclusive event also takes care to welcome people with disabilities, with activities supervised by disabled sports professionals. In the event of no snow, the organizers will adapt the activities at the Chapelle-des-Bois and Val de Morteau sites.
