Unknown persons cut and stole nearly 300 m of telephone cables during the night of Monday January 20 to Tuesday January 21. Two access hatches to these underground cables were opened on the roadway.

Flower pots stolen in Nevers
A resident of rue Jean-Maitron had the unpleasant surprise of noticing the theft of her two flower pots with boxwood, 15 kg each, and her wooden frames decorating the entrance to her house. She estimates her damage at nearly €200. The theft was committed on the night of Sunday January 19 to Monday January 20. “They had been there for a very long time,” says the victim who had encountered “no problems” until now.
-A stationary car hit at a traffic light in Nevers
A motorist did not see a car stopped at the traffic light on Boulevard Jérôme-Trésaguet towards Rue des Docks, Wednesday January 22, around 1 p.m. In the collision, the driver of the stopped vehicle was injured. He was taken to hospital by firefighters. The suspect's blood alcohol level test, carried out by the police, was positive.
Police checks in a hall and in front of the entrance to a building in Nevers
As part of the fight against drug trafficking, the police carried out checks on individuals on Wednesday January 22, around 4 p.m., in the hall and in front of the entrance to a building on rue Pierre-Émile -Gaspard. Nuisances are regularly denounced by local residents.
Officials intervened in this area on the evening of Saturday January 18 to calm down a group of around ten troublemakers. One of the protagonists was found in possession of cannabis. A few days earlier, a person had been beaten and left semi-conscious.
Traffic changes on the RN 7, in Tresnay
Due to crushing and evacuation work on plane trees along the RN 7, at a place called Cacherat, traffic alternates on the Nevers-Paris direction, between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m., until to Saturday January 25. Speed is limited to 50 km/h.
