The newspaper Les Echos reveals that Abdou Mbow’s absence from recent mobilizations and actions in support of Farba Ngom can be explained by a trip abroad. The former president of the Parliamentary Group Benno Bokk Yakaar, currently in , learned some disconcerting news to say the least: his home located in Mbour 3, in the town of Thiès, was burglarized the day before yesterday night.

According to exclusive information from Les Echos, the burglars took two televisions and a Canon camera, before turning the house upside down. Abdou Mbow, contacted by Les Echos, confirmed these facts and declared: “The criminals were perhaps looking for money, but they found nothing because I have no money to keep. » A complaint was filed with the Thiès gendarmerie. Still according to Les Echos, the police went to the scene to carry out in-depth investigations in the hope of finding the perpetrators of this theft.

It is important to note, as Les Echos points out, that this is not the first time that this house of Abdou Mbow has been the target of burglars. This new break-in highlights growing concerns about insecurity in the region.
