Favorite at the end of the first round, Camille Galliard-Minier handily beat the Insoumis Lyes Louffok, last Sunday, by 64.28% of the votes cast against 35.72% in the first constituency of Isère. Thus returning to a seat that she had already occupied as Olivier Véran's deputy when he was Emmanuel Macron's minister. By progressing by almost 40 points from one round to the next, the elected candidate benefited from a barrage vote against Louffok, who only garnered 7 additional points, seven months after LFI's victory in a constituency. which remains marked by a divide between the city of Grenoble and the peripheral municipalities.
