This is simply double compared to 2019. The number of insolvent companies exploded last year: more than 67,000 found themselves in liquidation or in receivership or under safeguard procedure, according to a balance sheet of the Altares firm. Because since 2023, they no longer have the right to spread their debt as they were able to do during the post-Covid period. Consequence: the most fragile structures threaten to go out of business, which risks leading to numerous job losses. In Seine-et-Marne, 7,046 positions are suspended, this is the highest number in the greater suburbs.
