In a context marked by rapid digital transformation, digital professions have become lucrative opportunities in Ivory Coast, Senegal and Benin. The Gray Search Africa (GSA) firm, in collaboration with HEC – West and Central Africa office, has published its 2024/2025 salary guide. This document details the remuneration of 25 digital-related professions in these three countries.

The study highlights several professions in high demand, including:

  • Data analyst ;
  • Web/digital project manager;
  • Community manager ;
  • Web designer ;
  • Social media manager ;
  • Digital content manager.

According to GSA, salaries for these professions vary between 80,000 FCFA and 4,100,000 FCFA, reflecting the diversity of levels of responsibility and skills.

The report reveals that some countries, notably Ivory Coast, offer competitive salaries, thanks in part to strong economic growth exceeding 6% and a relatively high cost of living. However, Managing Director of Gray Search Africa, Leila Richard Touma, expressed concern over a shortage of skilled labor in the areas of digital, technology and project management.

She also highlighted the growing impact of artificial intelligence in these professions, stating:

-

“We must all, without exception, embrace digitalization and integrate artificial intelligence tools into our businesses. »

The study, conducted among 5,000 employees across the three countries, provides valuable insight for employers and job seekers. It illustrates the evolution of salary expectations and skills needs in a region undergoing digital transformation.
