Friday evening, the Saint-Exupéry hall in Delme was packed for the wishes of the mayor, Loïc Klopp. On this occasion, several major projects for 2025 were revealed.
Extension of the Helios housing estate
The municipality has undertaken a major project with the extension of the Helios housing estate. While the private part, developed by Delta Aménagement, steadily expanded, the municipality still had a significant surface area allowing the creation of 17 additional plots. Calls for tenders have been launched and work will begin this year, at a cost of around €700,000.

Valorization of the duty to remember
Two memorial initiatives will mark the year 2025. In partnership with the National Union of Combatants (UNC), the local primary school and middle school, a flag will be given to educational establishments. An official ceremony will precede this presentation, during which selected students will become standard bearers for their establishment. This initiative is part of the preparation for the National Day of Remembrance of the Victims and Heroes of the Deportation, scheduled for Sunday April 27.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Stolpersteine Lorraine association and its founder Alain Cerf, several memorial paving stones will be laid in Delme in homage to the deportees. The laying of these paving stones will be accompanied by an official ceremony during this same commemoration day.
Development of a path between Puzieux and Delme
Another structuring project concerns the development of a path linking Puzieux to Delme. The existing trail will be completely renovated to make it passable in all seasons.
Distinctions municipales
The mayor took advantage of this ceremony to salute the commitment of several people. Thierry Lopez and Thierry Mathis, municipal workers, were honored for their investment. Rodolphe Baillet was also distinguished for his photographic and journalistic documentation work on the town. Finally, young Maud, first vice-president of the municipal youth council, was rewarded for her civic commitment.
