And truck a lost its load on the A31 motorway, near Thionville (Moselle), in the sens Luxembourg-Metzthis Tuesday, January 21, 2025 around 7:50 a.m.
According to the police, the axle of the truck broke, causing the fall of its load, namely empty pallets.
Following the accident, the highway will be closed during the morning.
-Highway closed “shortly”
Initially, the right lane was neutralized. But at 9:15 a.m., the police announced to us that the highway will be closed “soon” : vehicles will have to take exit 43 and get onto the A31 via interchange no. 42.
This closure of the highway should allow the cleaning of the roadway and l’extraction of the truck. The operation must last approximately 2h/2h30.
