Originally from Tahiti, Audrey Josserand-Taerea has made the tattoos that dot her body shine. The 29-year-old young woman will represent France at the Tatoo model world competition in Miami in a year.
“I have always been passionate about tattoos. It's in my culture. All my family around me are tattooed…” With a smile, Audrey Josserand-Taerea quickly went back to the roots, on the other side of the world, in Tahiti where she grew up. Among a hundred candidates, the Tarbaise first validated her ticket among the 20 survivors of the preselection, qualified for the grand oral. “We were asked to tell our story, show off our tattoos, before parading in evening wear and swimsuits, then posing in front of a photographer.” At the end of which, Audrey, styled for the occasion by the Addict-Paris-coiffure salon, found herself tied for first, back to back with a candidate who was “my opposite.
