In Marines (Val-d'Oise), the mayor, Nadine Ninot, did not break tradition by returning to the highlights of 2024.

Starting with the passage of the Olympic Flame in Vexinaccompanied by young people from the town.

Lighting

Major project, renovation of public lighting is also programmed.

“You should know that 75% of our equipment is obsolete and requires modernization,” recalled the city councilor.

A program which will be financed by the Banque des Territoires and a loan repayable according to the energy savings achieved.

In 2025, the video surveillance network will be increased, the stands of the stadium rebuilt, the recycling center enlarged and supplemented with a resource center.

The firefighters

And special tribute was returned to the firefighters who carried out 799 interventions, including 228 to Marines. The rescue center has 84 firefighters. Head of center from 1959 to 1984, Jean Letailleurwho recently died, received the City medal posthumously.

Captains Bernard Maury and Jacques Darthenay were also decorated. It was also given to the Lieutenant Geoffroy Gizardfor the entire center “to pay tribute to the dedication and commitment of all volunteer firefighters on behalf of the municipal council,” declared Nadine Ninot.
