Speed drops to be expected
Concerning transport, Jacques Witkowski, prefect of Bas-Rhin, decided that “on the highway network and the divided roadsthe maximum speed authorized
for all vehicles is lowered by 20 km/h without going below 70 km/h. »
It states that “for coaches and heavy goods vehicles (>3.5 t) this reduction of 20 km/h in the maximum authorized speed does not apply on sections limited to 130 km/h. »
Ban on burning green waste or making fireworks
Another measure aims to residential sector. Thus, “any open burning of green waste is prohibited – except for reasons of public safety”, indicates the prefect.
Furthermore, the fireworks will be prohibited in communities.
