The South African government is going on the offensive to bring back Formula 1 on its territory. Via its Ministry of Sports, Arts and Culture (DCAS), an official call for tenders has been launched to identify potential candidates capable of organizing a Grand Prix. The deadline for submitting proposals is the end of January.
