It is an additional piece of the complex puzzle that is the investigation into the death of Lydie Logé. Monique Olivier, ex-wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret, confessed to her role in the kidnapping and death of the 29-year-old from Ornaise, who disappeared on December 18, 1993, thus confirming the information revealed by RTL this Monday January 20, 2025.
“She admitted to being on the scene on the day of Lydie Logé's disappearance during several series of hearings, in May, and from the start of the school year until Decemberindicates Me Corine Herrmann, lawyer for several members of the victim's family, including her two sisters. -These confessions make Ornaise the twelfth recorded victim of the serial killer. His body was never found but his relatives hope that Michel Fourniret's accomplice can indicate where the couple of murderers left him. To do this, Monique Olivier will be transported to the scene, in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, this week, Thursday according to AFP.
It's already huge that she acknowledges her involvement, but now we need more details. Family members are waiting to have directions to find Lydie's body.

Already sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and complicity in 11 cases, Monique Olivier was therefore heard in recent months by the judge Sabine Khéris at the “cold case” pole of the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office.
