Garz unveils the video for his single “Everything is ephemeral”

Directed by Emile Rannou, the clip promises a poetic and emotional experience. The beach of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer serves as the main setting, where we find Garz, singing and playing while a child builds a sandcastle at his side.

Throughout the images, an old television placed near the artist lights up and transports the viewer into this child's past. She grows before our eyes, moving from adolescence to adulthood.

Furthermore, he will be this Saturday January 25 at 8:30 p.m. at the Avranches Media Library as part of Reading Nights.

A song with a summer scent

Originally written and composed for a theatrical serial entitled The ephemeral saga or how I grew up“Everything is ephemeral” is part of the fourth season of this creation, entitled The Ephemeral Saga at the Sea, which takes place in Granville. This melodic track, full of nostalgia, celebrates the lightness of summer and the beauty of fleeting moments. Garz combines this atmosphere with a captivating ukulele, a shaker with sandy accents and airy choirs.

An anticipated album

Garz's new album, On Order, will be revealed on Friday February 7. This compilation of ten tracks explores a unique facet of the artist: tailor-made musical creation for plays, documentaries, as well as short and feature films.

With On OrderGarz illustrates how the constraints linked to these artistic commissions fueled his inspiration. The album alternates between immersive instrumental pieces and narrative pop songs, demonstrating his love for cinema and theater. Two singles have already been released: the hypnotizing instrumental Héliophore Power and the bittersweet Tout est ephemeral.
