One of France Travail's main missions is to collect job offers and connect companies with job seekers.

Taekwondo puts job seekers and recruiters on an equal footing

At the end of the year, this objective was implemented in an original and innovative way by bringing together the different stakeholders at the Henri-Boyer gymnasium of Andelys (Your).

The formula “From stadium to employment” thus brought together 100 job seekers et 10 companies of the pelvis Vernon, Gaillon and Les Andelys.

The day called “From the stadium to employment” took place in two phases: in the morning, sports workshops led by the club Innae Taekwondo and job-dating in the afternoon.

200 job interviews

During the first part, applicants, recruiters and facilitators were divided into eight teams in which each was anonymous.

These sports and anonymous morning workshops allowed everyone to observe each other for more than 2 hours, and thus better gauge interpersonal skills through a different prism.

The masks only fell at the end of the workshops, then the lunch taken together.

What then followed was job-dating rich in something 200 interviews. Again, no formal office that separates candidates from employers; the interviews were conducted on the bleachers and other areas of the gymnasium.

A formula that pleases

Morisse obtained his professional electrotechnical baccalaureate at the Jean-Moulin des Andelys high school in 2020. He worked at Schoeller-Allibert in Gaillon, then at Collins Aerospace in Saint-Marcel where his employment contract ended on September 30. For this job-dating in the gym, he was on familiar ground.

As for Bruno des Andelys, he had decided to take a break and now wants to find a job with his Horticulture CAP in hand. He praises this innovative method. “It allows us to show our motivation differently. »

Gwenhael (Saint-Pierre-de-Bailleul), is looking for a job in administration or supporting people. She completely supports the process.

“It allows you to highlight your personality, even before your CV. That's what I like. »

On the recruiter side, the temp agency frame de Vernon was represented by Anne-Laure in charge of recruitment and Nzemba in work-study master's degree in human resources.

This is the first time that the Artus agency has participated in this recruitment formula and Anne-Laure says: “I think it’s a good concept”.
